Seat Pallet
Problem:
New car line needed seat pallets to marry with each side of the production line, carrying the seats of one side of the vehicle.Solution:
A universal seat pallet was designed that carries either a RH or LH bucket seat and either a 60% or 40% rear seat. Easy to operate ergonomic lock downs secured seats to pallet for transport, even over extremely rough terrain.Benefit:
$100,000 to $200,000 estimated savings. Universal pallets saved up front tooling costs, eliminated any costs for staging/separating two unique pallets, and the lock downs held the seats in place without adding any appreciable load/unload time.Seat Pallet
